The Best To Come

           Abraham Lincoln once said,"The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time." This means that people have time to observe situations so they can make good decisions. This quote is correct because it takes time to get everything perfect or the future. This can be seen when an individual is having a hard time and want the future to come sooner. He or she wants the future to come fast so they can pass the moment they are in. In the book, "dirty little secrets" by C. J. Omololu, Lucy can't wait till time passes, she always wants to be away from her mean old mother! Lucy has another day to improve the relationship with her mother, another day to be away from her, another day to feel stressed about her situation.

Nineteen ~ A Family Trip

Jayden never had never been on a plane before. And the idea that he was about to get on an actual plane in  less than 24 hours was so surreal to him! he was nervous yet excited for the trip of his life time! Jayden and his family were going to a trip to Japan to go adopt their new baby sister. They hope to seen meet the newest member in the family! Jayden even has her name already! Her name will be Anahi. His parents let him and his brother, Joseph, choose the name. Living in New York wasn't the "Big Apple" experience everyone hopes to have! They were just a regular family who were pretty wealthy and with much character! Everyone had a totally different personality, you could hardly ever imagine they were all related! They are all a trip! You can't forget about Max, the family dog, who is completely friendly to whom ever he comes across with. Just as they were really to leave for the airport, they got in a huge fight over to gets to call shot gun in the car! Joseph was always a fighter! He liked to argue with anyone and anything! Joseph is like a HUGE lion lives in a small town of happy people! It's been a year since the whole family to see Anahi. They were all so excited that once they got to Japan they all went to the agency to see when the Mamma will have her in her arms! After hours and hours and hours of paper work it was finally time to head back to the "Big Apple". Oh gosh they couldn't wait till Anahi got to meet her new surroundings and new friends and family. She may have been a little fussy but that because she was just so overwhelmed with people. To recall in her pass records she had never really ever been in a room less then 3 people. So it was a lot to take in. But they were all one big happy family that no one could ever break apart, and liked it like that!

The main character is named Lucy, she is constantly worried about being caught about what her real life in her house hold is like. The theme is time, she worried about what to say and what to do at all times. At the end of the book, I predict that Lucy will be really happy and to have many friends!

A Hero

The quote is explaining how a hero is suppose to be seen as and what a hero is doing in a mission. I agree with the quote, a hero is seem as a person who is capable of doing things what no other human is able to do. They do more than beyond what a person is expected to do. I haven't done or experienced anything of that nature but I do remember when I was about the age of 5 I loved balloons, I remembered that one day I was crying because my balloon flew all the way to the top of the ceiling of my house. Of course, I couldn't reach and I cried and I remember one of my cousins, he was older and much taller than me, reached for it and gave it back to me. That to me is also a hero because I wasn't tall enough and he did the unexpected. Which I couldn't do and it was so cool!
